Eileen Dey, M.A., LMHC will come to your hospital room, bring soothing music and provide an hour-long session in between the other treatments you are receiving.
Eileen is a licensed mental health counselor, certified hospice volunteer and Red Cross volunteer. She has worked with patients and staff in the departments of oncology, cardiac, labor and delivery, geriatrics and vascular surgery.
Fee includes travel to Seattle-area hospitals. For facilities outside the city, an extra $20 is required.
Reiki sessions usually last about an hour during which time a Reiki practitioner simply acts as a conduit for Reiki, allowing the Universal Energy to flow out through his/her hands in order to remove any energy blocks present in the client.
At times, due to illness, stress or fatigue, there can be blocks in one's energy system that, if left untreated, can lead to physical and/or emotional illness. Reiki treatments release these blocks and allow one’s body to return to a healthy balance so that healing and relaxation can occur naturally.

Students of the Registered Reiki Practitioner and Master Training Programs are required to attend advisory sessions throughout their training process. Review of course material, Reiki session technique as well as follow-up of practicum are subjects covered in each session.

Eileen Dey, M.A., LMHC has developed a technique she calls Insight Reiki to facilitate the process of coming to clarity and understanding of presenting issues. Areas of specialty include help in resolving issues associated with: *depression/anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, career/job conflict*. Eileen works with adults 18 and older and abides by the Code of Ethics for Mental Health Practitioners.
